End of search

Those of us who still consult the internet like a vast library have been noticing that our method of adding keywords or Boolean operators to a search box is becoming useless. This started with advertising and SEO contaminating the process, and now we have AI-driven queries and summaries directing traffic away from actual websites.

Hilariously I was looking for an article to cite today and got a nice AI summary from Google explaining what “end of search” means (see screenshot below).
